Chris Christie Lays Into ‘Jackass’ Vivek Ramaswamy: ‘I’ve Had Enough’ of His ‘Smart-Ass Harvard Mouth’
Chris Christie tore into Vivek Ramaswamy during his debrief from his latest debate clash with his Republican presidential primary rival.
In a post-debate interview with CNN’s Dana Bash, Christie stood by his confrontations with Ramaswamy and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis throughout the NewsNation-hosted event. While Christie was also critical of Nikki Haley, Bash asked him about the part of the debate where he vigorously defended her from the snipes Ramaswamy was taking at her again.
Calling himself a “truth teller,” Christie stood by his disagreements with Haley, but also his respect for her as a “smart” and “accomplished woman.”
“I think Vivek does have a woman problem,” Christie said. “I do think he insults women’s basic intelligence. He’s done it over and over and over again. And I guess tonight, I just had had enough. I had enough of listening to his garbage, and as I said, his smart-ass Harvard math, because that’s what it is when he’s dictating to me. Nikki Haley. We have committed ourselves to public service while he’s been off stealing from seniors to make his fortune. Yeah, I’m not going to put up with him anymore.”
Christie concluded his Ramaswamy slams by calling him a “jackass” for claiming Haley couldn’t distinguish between Israel and the U.S. on a map.
