Colbert Keeps Auction War Going with O’Reilly: ‘With All Due Respect, You’re an Idiot’

Stephen Colbert razzed Bill O’Reilly a bit Thursday night over a little tiff between the two hosts over their competing auctions. O’Reilly is auctioning off his interview notes, co-signed by President Obama, to benefit a military charity, and Colbert is donating the microwave he stole from O’Reilly for another military charity.

Last week O’Reilly hit back at Colbert’s “dubious” mockery, and Colbert was crushed. He said he wasn’t trying to mock O’Reilly, just to celebrate him, because “why does it always have to be you talking about how great you are?”

But Colbert couldn’t resist getting on O’Reilly’s case for not vetting verified bids, saying, “Bill, with all due respect, you’re an idiot.” Colbert touted how well his own auction is doing, and went right back to begging O’Reilly to sign the microwave.
