Fox News Looks at What’s in de Blasio’s ‘Subconscious Mind’
Anyone curious about what’s going on in Bill de Blasio‘s head should look no further than this Fox News segment today diving into the “subconscious mind” of the New York City mayor. Now, keep in mind, the basis for the segment was de Blasio lashing out at the media for being divisive in highlighting the minority of agitators amongst the protesters.
Psychotherapist Karen Ruskin said, “When we react to others, typically it’s because within our own subconscious mind we recognize that we’ve overstepped our bounds.” And in the case of de Blasio, “his conscious mind is reacting so as to avoid from having to really hear the reality of what his subconscious mind is saying.”
She explained that de Blasio might have lashed out because his subconscious feels guilty about going too far in attacking the police. And while she didn’t mention the NYPD shooting specifically, Ruskin did remark that de Blasio’s subconscious is probably saying, “Look at what’s happened because you’ve played a role in articulating against the police.”
