Fox’s Peter Doocy Says Biden Offered Lunch After Calling Him a ‘Stupid Son of a B*tch’ — But It ‘Never Happened’

Fox News reporter Peter Doocy said President Joe Biden failed to follow through on a vow to treat him to lunch after the commander-in-chief called him a “stupid son of a bitch” on a hot mic three years ago.

Doocy told Fox & Friends on Friday morning that when Biden called him to apologize, he promised to treat him to a meal. The network White House correspondent said the lunch never materialized as he discussed how he was covering the final days of the Biden White House.

Doocy’s father, Steve Doocy, noted the president insulted his son and asked him to open up about previously Biden’s lunch offer.

“Nobody over the last four years has gotten Joe Biden to say more about stuff he didn’t want to say than you did,” Steve Doocy said. “You know, you were constantly barking questions at him. And most famously, you yelled at him about inflation, and he called you a stupid S.O.B. Since this is your last Friday at the Biden White House, I know we can tell the story now. He actually called you when you were alive on Special Report with Brett Baer, and he told you something that nobody knows he did.”

Peter Doocy said Biden offered to break bread with him but after the Covid pandemic had wound down. He joked he had apparently never been deemed “safe” to dine with:

I feel like I can say this now because it never happened. He called me and initially, he told me it’s nothing personal, pal, but he said a bad word. And he also said – and this was at the tail end of Covid – he said he would have me in for lunch when it was safe. Well, I think his lunch card is probably filled. It never happened. So it was never safe to have lunch with me.

Peter Doocy concluded, “The lunch never happened. Yeah. I told many people about the lunch. The lunch never happened.”

In January 2022, Doocy annoyed Biden during a press conference when he asked, “Do you think inflation is a political liability in the midterms?”

“No, it’s a great asset,” Biden sarcastically fired back.

Apparently unaware his microphone was hot, he then muttered, “More inflation. What a stupid son of a bitch.”
