GMA Checks In On Robin Roberts As She Returns Home After Surgery

On Thursday, Good Morning America gave viewers a look at how host Robin Roberts has been doing since her recent bone marrow transplant procedure.

“Don’t take it the wrong way,” Roberts told medical staff. “I hope I never see you again. Except at the anniversary party!”

Appearing thinner, but remarkably strong and in good spirits — she even sings and dances in celebration of going back home, Roberts profusely thanked the team at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

At home, Roberts will focus on building physical strength, eating normally, and amping up her 20 days-old immune system.
