Hillary: ‘We Just Elected a Person Who Admitted Sexual Assault to the Presidency’
In talking about Harvey Weinstein recently, Hillary Clinton invoked President Trump and said, “We just elected a person who admitted sexual assault to the presidency.”
Clinton spoke with Channel 4’s Matt Frei, who asked her why she didn’t do better with women after that infamous Access Hollywood tape and other things Trump said about women.
But Trump also came up again after he asked about Weinstein.
Clinton once again condemned his “terrible” behavior and insisted that even though this was apparently an open secret for years, she “did not hear those things.”
But she immediately pivoted to Trump and said, “We just elected a person who admitted sexual assault to the presidency. So there’s a lot of other issues that are swirling around these kinds of behaviors that need to be addressed.”
