Jesse Watters Says Shia LaBeouf ‘Told Me To Go Eff Myself at a Delta Lounge’

Fox News host Jesse Watters recalled the time when actor Shia LaBeouf cursed him out at an airport.

On Tuesday’s Jesse Watters Primetime, the host welcomed playwright and director David Mamet to the program to promote the new film Henry Johnson, which stars LaBeouf.

“It’s about a guy who stands up and he wants to do good for a friend of his who went to jail, so he steals for the friend to get him a lawyer,” Mamet explained. “Then he goes to jail and gets involved in a shootout in jail. He gets a lot of people killed, he stages a riot. It’s a lot of fun.”

Watters took the opportunity to tell Mamet about his own experience with the director’s star.

“Well, Shia LaBeouf told me to go eff myself at a Delta lounge at the airport a couple years ago,” he said. “So, tell him I said hi. Will you do that for me?”

Mamet laughed and didn’t make any promises.

Watters’ story was a recounting of a tale he told while guest-hosting The Ingraham Angle in 2019, though the “eff myself” part is a new inclusion.

“The other day, I was at a lounge at the Delta sky situation trying to take off for a flight with my family,” he said. “And the actor Shia LeBeouf or whatever his name is, I think it was him, it looked exactly like him. I walk by and he calls me ‘trash’ right in front of my kids, you know? And I didn’t say anything. I didn’t lose it. But, you know, these things happen.”

Watters hasn’t been shy about telling anecdotes in which he’s the object of mockery or derision, particularly when they involve his liberal mother. In November, he said his mom did not invite him to Thanksgiving dinner. When President Donald Trump was convicted in May 2024 on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records, Watters said his mother kept pestering him.

“She texted me that she was dancing after the verdict. Dancing. And then she kept all day sending me 34, 34, 34 felony counts,” he groused.
