Jimmy Fallon Beats SNL to Full-On GOP Debate Parody

With the second GOP debate on tonight and the season premiere of Saturday Night Live still more than two weeks away, Jimmy Fallon presented his own debate parody on last night’s Tonight Show — albeit with just three candidates instead of the full 11.

President Barack Obama hosted “The Debating Game,” in which one undecided female voter had to pick between Fallon’s Donald Trump, a very uncomfortable Jeb Bush and seriously weird Lindsey Graham.

When SNL finally gets around to mocking the 2016 debates, you can expect a slightly higher level of authenticity. But Fallon has such a big head start that they may have to bring him back in, Tina Fey-as-Sarah Palin-style, to play Trump on the show.
