Larry Wilmore Superimposes Himself into O’Reilly’s Shoutfest with Kirsten Powers
Larry Wilmore invited himself to join Bill O’Reilly‘s Tuesday evening segment in which he shouted at Kirsten Powers, seeing as there were no black people involved in the actual panel discussion on race.
For those who don’t recall: O’Reilly blew up at his liberal guest Powers after she suggested he denies the existence of racism in America and asked him how many black friends he has. Yeah, we covered that.
And so Wilmore joined in on the fun, using Comedy Central’s post-production skills. And when things got tense, he inserted himself for commentary. Except, of course, when O’Reilly slammed the desk and pointed his finger at Powers, saying he’s “ashamed” of her if she thinks racism is an ingrained problem in the United States: “I don’t have anything smart to say here, it’s just hilarious,” Wilmore said.
