Michael Moore On AZ Law: “What’s The Problem? Illegal Immigrants Work Hard”

Can any national/cable news debate be considered complete unless Michael Moore weighs in? Last night Moore appeared on Larry King Live and talk quickly turned to the new Arizona Immigration Law. Says Moore: “I didn’t know it was impossible for them to embarrass themselves further than they did 20 years ago when they were the only state that wouldn’t have Martin Luther King Day…My position is anytime anything sounds like dialogue from Hogan’s Heroes it shouldn’t be law.”

When Larry King pressed Moore to “admit Arizona has a [immigration] problem” Moore would not. “What is the problem, really? Illegal immigrants work very hard, they do the jobs Americans don’t want to do.” His solution: For every illegal immigrant they catch they should send one Goldman Sachs guy to Mexico.” There’s more, including Moore’s view on the ‘sad state’ of John McCain. It’s probably worth it to note that Moore does not compare Arizona to Hitler, or South Africa. Video below.
