Mitch McConnell’s Dem Senate Challenger Teaches Him How to Hold a Gun

What’s the best way for a Democratic Senate candidate to prove to a reliably Republican state that she’s not a Barack Obama liberal commie elitist wimp? Normally, by shooting a gun. But luckily for Alison Grimes, her opponent, Sen. Mitch McConnell, can’t actually hold a gun — a fact that she hammers in her latest ad.

“Mitch McConnell wants you to think I’m Barack Obama,” Grimes says in her ad, while skeet shooting in a misty field. “I’m not Barack Obama. I disagree with him in guns, coal and the EPA.”

“And Mitch?” she adds, showing a photo of the Senate Majority Leader toting an upside-down rifle. “That’s not how you hold a gun.”
