MSNBC Guest Defends Sony: ‘This Is Capitalism, Not the State Department’
While most of us run around yelling the terrorists won with regard to Sony pulling The Interview from theaters in the face of North Korean threats, Morning Joe Chief Blazer Correspondent Donny Deutsch defended the embattled studio, arguing they made the right business decision.
“This is capitalism,” he said, “not the State Department.”
“At the end of the day it’s not a matter of moral imperative, it’s a matter of a business judgment,” he continued. “It’s a matter of protect consumers, protecting my business franchise. They had no choice.”
The market works.
