MSNBC’s Ronan Farrow Hits His Lowest-Ever Demo Ratings

Amid rumors of his MSNBC show’s impending demise, Ronan Farrow hit a new low for the network’s daytime ratings in the key 25-54 demo.

Racking up only 11K demo viewers, Tuesday’s edition of Ronan Farrow Daily notched the show’s lowest rating ever in its one-year existence. That 11K demo for 1 p.m. hour is also MSNBC’s historical lowest-ever since it hit 9K on Jan. 25, 2005.

During the same hour, CNN racked up 154K demo viewers, Fox garnered 202K, CNBC had 57K, HLN had 41K, and even Al Jazeera America defeated MSNBC with 22K.

And for even broader perspective, Farrow’s sunken numbers helped MSNBC deliver its lowest all-day (3a-3a) demo viewership (55K) since July 20, 2005, when the network scored only 45K in the demo.

Farrow’s low daytime ratings have long been fodder for speculation that his show is not long for this world. In October, our own Joe Concha reported that network brass eye Daily for cancellation.

That was back when the show averaged 50K demo viewers.
