Must-See Late Night Clip: Jimmy Fallon Reunites Saved by the Bell Cast

After recreating the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air opening credits on Monday night, Jimmy Fallon took his love of ’90s sitcoms to the next level last night by bringing together four of the six principles from Saved by the Bell (plus Mr. Belding) for a full-on Bayside High reunion complete with a ballet dancing A.C. Slater and a pregnant Kelly Kapowski.

One by one, Fallon, who achieved every SBTB fan’s fantasy by inserting himself into the Bayside gang, brought out Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Zack), Mario Lopez (Slater), Elizabeth Berkley (Jessie) and Tiffani Amber Thiessen (Kelly) and gave each a chance to recreate some of their classic moments from the show. Of course, the whole thing ended with a Zack Attack performance of “Friends Forever.”

The two major players that were missing were Dustin Diamond (Screech), who was recently arrested for an alleged stabbing incident and Lark Voorhies (Lisa), who has rarely shown her face in public in recent years.

Fallon has been trying to achieve a full Saved by the Bell reunion ever since he started his career as a late night host and it has been six years since he first interviewed Gosselaar as Zack Morris on Late Night. This might be the closest he ever gets.
