Nancy Grace Cuts Mic Of Zimmerman Friend In Middle Of Explosive Confrontation

Nancy Grace spoke today with Frank Taaffe, a friend of George Zimmerman‘s who was very defensive of his friend’s actions on the night of Trayvon Martin‘s death, to the point of shouting at Grace about Zimmerman’s right to concealed carry. In the midst of his ranting, Grace decided to cut his mic so she could hear herself talk.

Taaffe argued that Zimmerman had the “legal right to carry that weapon with him,” but Grace was utterly baffled when Taaffe referred to Zimmerman as a “legal concealed weapons carrier.” She bewilderedly asked, “Did you just say that?”

She brushed aside his insistence that Zimmerman had a permit, declaring, “Jeffrey Dahmer had a legal right to have knives and a boiling pot! That doesn’t mean it’s okay!”

Taaffe shot back against the idea that Zimmerman was “just sauntering about with a gun looking to gun down a young black male.” He leaned in to the camera and shouted, “He was on drugs!” As he continued to go on about drugs being found in Martin’s system, Grace ordered his mic to be cut and continued speaking.
