New Mexico GOP Gov.: Trump’s Remarks ‘Horrible,’ ‘Uncalled For’

Susana Martinez, the Republican governor of New Mexico, reacted tonight to Donald Trump‘s comments about Mexican immigrant rapists and criminals.

Martinez was informed by a reporter tonight of what Trump said, and her immediate reaction was, “Oh my God in heaven.”

The governor then said, “I absolutely disagree with him, I think those are horrible things to say about anyone or any culture, anyone of any ethnicity. I mean, that is uncalled for, completely.”

Trump’s remarks haven’t gotten much response by Republicans, save for an aside by RNC Chair Reince Priebus and condemnation today by George Pataki.
