Nicolle Wallace and Laura Ingraham Trade Barbs Over MSNBC Host’s Trump-Bashing During Bush Sr. Ceremony
Fox News’ Laura Ingraham swiped at MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace this afternoon for comments she made during the live coverage of the motorcade bringing George H.W. Bush‘s casket to the Capitol.
Wallace remarked, “I think what everyone’s getting at is that under Donald Trump, the office of the presidency has been debased in a way that is unimaginable for people who served, every past president… I think what’s lost in this moment is our reverence and our dependence and the way we need and rely upon the elegance and the traditions of the presidency.”
Ingraham scolded Wallace for her comments, but Wallace was quick to respond:
As the #Bush41 processional was making its way to the Capitol, @MSNBC's Nicole Wallace sniped: "Under Donald Trump the office of the presidency has been debased in ways that are unimaginable to those who have served every past president…."

"…what's been lost is reverence…." she added. #irony

At the very same moment @IngrahamAngle was watching @MSNBC and sniping at me. https://t.co/izLFYTXeX0

Later, MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski jumped in the fray to back her colleague.
If describing reality is sniping then ok .. but I’m not sure where you think this is going except REALLY badly. @NicolleDWallace is right on.. you are as usual serving as the president’s panderer. I’m not sure that ends well but hey good luck! https://t.co/pPxkC6qJcA
