‘Nikki Haley Keeps Kicking Your Ass’: Chris Cuomo Interview With Vivek Ramaswamy Devolves Into Chaos

An interview between NewsNation host Chris Cuomo and Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy devolved into chaos on Monday as Cuomo advised Ramaswamy to stop attacking his rival Nikki Haley because she “keeps kicking your ass.”

At the beginning of the interview, Cuomo played a compilation of clips from the third Republican primary debate, which showed Haley calling Ramaswamy “scum” and telling him to “leave my daughter out of your voice,” after Ramaswamy noted that Haley’s daughter had used TikTok.

Following a loud argument, during which Ramaswamy told Cuomo to “look the audience in the eye and tell them how you covered for your brother,” Cuomo said, “Nikki Haley keeps kicking your ass in these debates. Why go at her? Pick someone else.”

“According to the left-wing media. Chris, give me a freaking break,” shot back Ramaswamy. “You turn on social media, you understand. People should watch that debate. I went to New Hampshire, people were laughing at the idea of the mainstream media’s coverage, or the New York Times columnists and people like you who belong there with one narrative because you have some identity politic vision of what you think a leader of this country should look like.”

Cuomo questioned, “Nikki Haley is my Trojan Horse?” before bursting into laughter.

“Well the fact of the matter is you guys have made a career out of deciding that the America First agenda is not the future of this country,” claimed Ramaswamy. “Kick that out of the Republican Party, put a genteel version that you can control as your little puppet, so American politics looks the way you want it to.”

Cuomo responded, “Vivek, there’s a reason that she’s beating you in the polls.”

The NewsNation host then aired a graphic of RealClearPolitics poll graphic which showed Haley beating Ramaswamy by nearly 5%.
