Omarosa Struggles to Explain Why She Stayed on Team Trump Despite His Alleged Use of N-Word

A TMZ interview with Omarosa Manigault got abruptly cut off when talked turned to why the former White House aide did not stop supporting Trump and remained on his team after she realized he had made a racial slur.

It started after Harvey Levin pressed Manigault on why, if she believed that Trump had used a racist slur, she remained Trump’s “fiercest supporter.”

“When you said ‘that’s not true’ suggesting very clearly that you believed that Donald Trump had used the n-word, that was at a time that you were his fiercest supporter, with the knowledge that you believed, based on the tape that you recorded, that you believed that Donald Trump used the N-word,” Levin said. “That’s stunning.”

Manigault said that after she had that conversation she was “on a mission” to find out if, in fact, it was true that Trump had made a racist statement.

“I needed to know for myself if, in fact, he said that,” she added, noting it would “shatter” who she thought he was.

The former Trump staffer and reality star villain then said it was important for people to hear from the beginning until “the moment General Kelly locked me in the Situation Room and told me things could get ugly for me.”

“They need to see what that journey was like,” she said, failing to give a straight answer, and turning to someone off camera.

That is when her PR rep cut the interview off, pushing Manigault’s book in front of the camera and bringing the segment to a close.
