Raskin LOSES IT on Comer in Hearing: ‘You Have Not Identified a Single Crime!’

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) found himself at wits’ end on Wednesday during a meeting of the House Oversight Committee about the Chinese Communist Party.

Raskin, the committee’s ranking member, has repeatedly tangled with Chairman James Comer (R-KY) about the foreign business dealings of Hunter Biden and the role, if any, President Joe Biden played in them. Comer has long alleged the president received ill-gotten gains – from China, among other countries – from his son’s ventures and has even accused Joe Biden of accepting a bribe as vice president. After more than a year of probing the matter, the committee has yet to furnish proof of those explosive claims. Moreover, Comer’s bribery charge was debunked.

For much of the last year, it appeared as though the Republican-controlled House would impeach the president. However, Comer has distanced himself from the possibility.

Wednesday’s hearing was just another day in the Raskin-Comer hearing wars, with the former telling the chairman that he “needs therapy.” At one point Raskin was apoplectic.

“You have not identified a single crime!” Raskin thundered. “What is the crime that you wanna impeach Joe Biden for and keep this nonsense going?! Why? What is the crime? Tell America right now!”

“You’re about to find out,” Comer insisted. “You’re about to find out very soon.”

“We inhabit a propaganda experiment!” Raskin yelled.

Comer spent much of 2023 on Fox News and Newsmax, where he appeared more than 200 times. Each time, he suggested Joe Biden had engaged in corruption.
