Rosie O’Donnell Jokingly Praises Trump for Making Her ‘Re-Famous’ — Like ‘Facism’ and ‘Measles’

Rosie O’Donnell mockingly thanked President Donald Trump for making her “re-famous” on Tuesday night just like, she claimed, he had done with “fascism” and “the measles.”

The comedian, whose decades-long feud with Trump has been rekindled by a fresh series of attacks from the president, continued her weeklong stint guest-hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live! by ridiculing the president in another barbed monologue, again, without once referring to him by name.

“This has been kind of a strange experience for me because all of a sudden I’m re-famous,” O’Donnell told viewers Tuesday. “I’m back in the spotlight all thanks to President Oompa J. Loompa, who is watching us this evening from inside a catering cart.”

“You know, I couldn’t have done it without you, sweetie,” she said, as if addressing Trump directly. “You brought me back ― just like you did with fascism and the measles.”

Trump has repeatedly targeted O’Donnell on social media, threatening to revoke her citizenship and posting AI-generated memes depicting her as having “Trump derangement syndrome.”

In another snipe, O’Donnell rounded on Trump’s claim earlier in the day that the Strait of Hormuz was now a U.S. territory, using her own sexuality to dent the president’s claims and hitting him with a Godfather-themed nickname.

“Velvito Corleone was up bright and early at 7 a.m. this morning to post an image of a map listing the Strait of Hormuz as a U.S. territory,” she began, adding: “Which makes literally no sense.”

I’ll put it this way. If the U.S. is in charge of the Strait, then I’m also straight,” she jabbed.

“And let’s face it, I’m not,” O’Donnell quipped. “The moronathon continues.”
