S.E. Cupp Goes Off on Ronny Jackson: He Needs to Do the ‘Honorable Thing’ and Withdraw Nomination
Just now on @HLNTV, @secupp: "The President should buck up and have the courage to make the call to withdraw Ronny Jackson's nomination instead of punting it back to him.” https://t.co/WKs1EfOEJR

HLN’s S.E. Cupp said Dr. Ronny Jackson needs to withdraw from consideration to be VA Secretary amid some stunning new allegations about his past behavior.
The allegations against Jackson include drinking while on duty and “improper dispensing of prescription drugs.” His confirmation hearing has been postponed, though reports late this afternoon suggest he’s not withdrawing yet.
Cupp said the choice of Jackson wasn’t ideal from the start since he was “unvetted [and] unqualified.”
“And now he’s toxic,” she concluded, “So the President should buck up and have the courage to make the call to withdraw his nomination instead of punting it back to Ronny Jackson.”
As for the nominee himself, Cupp said, “The honorable thing for Ronny Jackson to do is voluntarily withdraw his nomination from consideration and do it now before he and the country get dragged through Senate hearings.”
