Anthony Scaramucci is back, and on ABC’s This Week today, he said that President Trump‘s statement on Charlottesville should have been “much harsher.”
George Stephanopoulos asked him if he would have okayed that statement if he was still the White House Communications Director.
Scaramucci said this in response:
“I wouldn’t have recommended that statement. I think he needed to be much harsher as it related to the white supremacists and the nature of that.”
He added that “you have to call that stuff out,” given the “moral authority” of the President.
