Sen. Jim DeMint: ‘I Think I Already Have’ Called For Holder’s Resignation

GBTV’s Amy Holmes spoke with South Carolina’s Sen. Jim DeMint about the ongoing investigation into Attorney General Eric Holder‘s knowledge of / role in the White House’s failed “Fast and Furious” gun walking program.

Holmes asked DeMint whether he’d lost confidence in Holder to the point of asking for his resignation.

Well, I have lost confidence, because there are a lot of things that have happened — his raid on Gibson Guitar like they were a bunch of criminals. I mean, these things, in addition to just the botched Fast and Furious. Some of the lawsuits against our state and what they’ve done in this administration aside from just the Justice Department, like the NLRB attacking Boeing in South Carolina. And that’s affiliated with, I think, the whole justice perspective of this administration. I don’t have very much confidence that we can get justice out of this Justice Department.

When asked again whether he’d call for Holder’s resignation, DeMint responded “I think I already have.”
