Sen. John Kennedy Wildly Claims College Professors Supporting Protests Believe in ‘The Right To Kill Jews’

Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) claimed that “some” college faculty  supporting the pro-Palestine protests across the country believe in “the right to kill Jews.”

GOP senators held a press conference on Wednesday reacting to the latest crackdown by law enforcement on pro-Palestine protesters at Columbia University. Senators also shared their thoughts on the violence that occurred between pro-Israel and pro-Palestine demonstrators at UCLA on Tuesday night.

Demonstrations over the war in Gaza have disrupted college campuses across the United States, often leading to the arrests of hundreds of student protesters at these events.

Kennedy made a shocking claim during the Wednesday press briefing by saying that “some” college faculty are encouraging the protests because they “believe in the right to kill Jews”:

I think much of the problem comes from members. Some members, not all, but some members of these universities faculty. There are members of the faculty at some of these universities who believe in diversity, equity, inclusion, and the right to kill Jews. They do.

Now, this is America. You’re entitled to believe what you want. It may be an evil thought, but you’re entitled to believe it. You’re not entitled to act on. And many of these professors, not all of them, and not at all universities, but many of these professors, instead of celebrating their universities, as a diverse place of diversity and ideas, they are convinced they are right and they want to punish people who disagree with them. And that’s a big part of the problem.
