SNL Cast Hijacks Michael Keaton’s Monologue to Beg Him to Play Batman Again
Tonight’s SNL monologue was a little longer than usual, probably for one big reason: It has been 22 years since Michael Keaton last hosted the show, and 32 years since he first held the honors.
A lot has happened since 1992, including a drastically different SNL cast, now populated by young’uns who were just wee bairns back then, watching Keaton’s glory days on the big screen, dreaming of one day being Batman (or Beetlejuice?).
And so Keaton’s monologue was hijacked by Taran Killam and Bobby Moynihan, who sang/begged Keaton to reprise his roles as Batman and Beetlejuice. Ultimately, they won him over for just a quick second…
