SNL Lampoons O.J. Simpson’s First Date Since Being Released From Prison: ‘Still Got It’
Saturday Night Live had some fun at O.J. Simpson‘s expense with a sketch that depicts his first date since being released from prison.
Simpson (played by Kenan Thompson) told his unsuspecting date (played by host Gal Gadot) that he had never used dating apps before.
“O.J., is that a nickname?” she asked.
“No, actually. It’s my first and middle name, Orenthal James,” he revealed. “You know, I did have a nickname for a little while; ‘The Juice’ as in ‘The Juice is Loose.'”
“Loose from what?” his date interjected.
“Just a… juice container… I guess,” Simpson responded.
The waiter then brought his food, which consisted of a steak, lamb chops, burgers, and fries.
“I’m starving,” he exclaimed. “I feel like I haven’t eaten a decent meal in years.”
Simpson then asked his date if she ever “Googled” the men she goes out with, but she said she “preferred the mystery.”
“Fantastic,” Simpson grinned.
Their date was interrupted by an angry patron and several people taking pictures with their cell phones as Simpson tried to cut his steak with a plastic knife. And before leaving the restaurant, Simpson turned to the camera to brag about his ways with women.
“Still got it,” he winked.
