Thursday Cable Ratings: CNN Nearly Doubles MSNBC in Primetime Demo

After coming in first place in the 25-54 demo on Wednesday night, CNN dropped to second behind Fox News Thursday as news continued to break surrounding the Paris terror attack. But with an average 276K viewers in the demo during primetime, CNN nearly doubled MSNBC’s average of 140K.
CNN’s ratings peaked during the 8 p.m. hour when Anderson Cooper 360 had 363K viewers in the demo compared to 493K for Fox’s The O’Reilly Factor and just 121K for MSNBC’s All In with Chris Hayes.
In total viewers, Fox News was far out in the lead with 1.931M in primetime. CNN came in second place with 772K and MSNBC was third with 658K.
