Tommy Tuberville Claims Biden Is Only Running In 2024 to ‘Stay Out Of Jail’

Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) predicted that President Joe Biden will likely drop out of the 2024 race in the coming months and is only running to “stay out of jail.”

Tuberville joined Wake Up America on Newsmax Thursday morning — where co-host Sharla McBride questioned the Alabama lawmaker on the chances of Biden staying in the 2024 race. He predicted that near the time of the Democratic convention, Biden will drop out and be replaced by younger candidate.

Meanwhile, Biden’s likely November opponent and Republican frontrunner, former President Donald Trump, faces four criminal indictments in four different jurisdictions for a variety of alleged crimes, including over his handling of classified material and attempts to overturn 2020 presidential election.

MCBRIDE: Do you believe that Biden is the Democratic nominee come November?

TUBERVILLE: You know, I thought about three months ago, four months ago, I thought he probably would make it. But to see it decline over the last few months, I don’t think he’ll make it. I just watched him yesterday walking on a tarmac in L.A. with Nancy Pelosi, shuffling his feet, looking at the ground. I mean, he, you know, we got to have some leadership in this country. I don’t know what they’re going to do, but President Trump’s going to win anyway. But, I think they’ll change probably around convention time moves somebody in to, to try to get President Trump a run for his money. But Joe Biden, he can’t win. He’s trying to stay in there just so he can stay out of jail to be honest with you.

Republican lawmakers and pundits have used Biden’s age to claim the president is mentally unfit for office despite Trump only being four-years younger than Biden.
