Trump Rips ‘Fake’ WaPo Reporter, Insists There’s No Chaos: ‘Almost Nobody in the WH But Me’
President Donald Trump attacked a Washington Post reporter this morning for reporting that the White House is pretty chaotic right now as the government shutdown becomes the longest on record.
Trump insisted there is absolutely no chaos in the White House, saying, “There’s almost nobody in the W.H. but me.”
He also insisted he definitely has a plan on the shutdown “but to understand that plan you would have to understand the fact that I won the election, and I promised safety and security for the American people.”

The President appears to be referring to Washington Post White House Bureau Chief Philip Rucker, who said this on Today this morning:
“We hear about the West Wing being chaotic so often, but it really is at this moment There does not seem to be a strategy for this shutdown. They decided to enter the shutdown without a clear plan of how to get out from it… There is no plan for how to reopen this government.”
