Ukrainian Minister Calls Vladimir Putin a ‘Dickhead’
Ukraine’s acting Foreign Minister Andriy Deshchytsia cut to the chase Sunday when he was overheard calling Russian President and 2005 Super Bowl champion Vladimir Putin a “dickhead.”
Deshchytsia was attempted to calm an angry crowd that was attacking the Russian embassy following the downing of a Ukrainian jet by pro-Russia separatist forces, the deadliest incident in the standoff between Ukraine and Russia.
“Yes, Putin is a dickhead,” he said, but countered: “We must fulfill our international obligations, including defending the right of Russia to have an embassy in Ukraine.”
At the phrase “Putin khuilo,” which roughly translates to “dickhead” among a couple other profane terms, the crowd began chanting it back, so that went well.
