Update: Injured ABC News Correspondent Abbie Boudreau Released From Hospital
ABC’s Abbie Boudreau, who was injured in a serious car accident while on assignment, has now been released from a Virginia hospital after two days of treatment and tests. Boudreau’s producer, Mary Bruce, was also hurt, but released from the hospital the day of the accident.
The exact nature of Boudreau’s injuries has not been released.
In a memo sent this afternoon to ABC News staffers, news chief David Westin says it looks like both will make a “full recovery.”
As we reported, Boudreau and Bruce were in a car outside Richmond, Virginia when their vehicle was rear-ended by a semi, in an accident that ABC insiders described as “scary.”
