WATCH: Brutal Dashcam Footage Shows Cop Beating Chase Suspect

Dashcam video just released by the Dallas Police Department shows a now-fired officer punching a car chase suspect and throwing him to the ground.

The November incident occurred while Dallas PD officer Rene Villanueva was working off-duty. After the suspect bumped an off-duty deputy with his truck, Villaneuva chased him for two miles; once he had stopped the suspect Villaneuva proceeded to beat him with his gun and fist, and then threw the suspect out of the truck and onto the ground.

Villanueva has been fired and faces criminal assault charges. The suspect made a plea bargain and has since been deported.
