WATCH: Obama Sings ‘On the Road Again’ with Willie Nelson

Was President Barack Obama making some sort of grand statement about getting back on the horse after this past week’s devastating midterm elections? Or did he simply think it would be fun to sing with Willie Nelson and John Fogerty?

Either way, there was the president, looking a bit more awkward than usual as he tried to keep up with these two musical legends at Friday night’s White House “Salute to the Troops” concert. “And I can’t wait to get on the road again…”
