What, Me Panic? Reince Priebus Insists ‘This Is Fun’ for Him

CNN aired a profile of Reince Priebus earlier today, and the RNC chairman would like to make it very clear he’s not spending his days curling up in the corner in a panic.

He’s not denying there are problems––he freely admitted he sometimes feels like he’s trying to reduce 7-alarm fires down to 4-alarm fires. Priebus did also say, “Nobody should feel sorry for me, I signed up for this.”

But the way he described his state of mind was, um, quite remarkable:

“People assume, ‘Oh, you must be miserable, you got a horrible job.’ But I don’t see it that way. I’m not pouring Baileys in my cereal, I’m not sitting here trying to find a Johnnie Walker. I mean, this is––this is fun.”
