Who Won the Republican New Hampshire Primary?

Screen Shot 2016-02-08 at 2.22.30 PMThe first-in-the-nation primary has begun, as the political world turned its focus onto the state of New Hampshire and Tuesday’s voting. Both the Democratic and Republican parties hosted their primary voting processes state-wide, one week after the Iowa Caucuses, and some communities in the Granite State will even began their voting at the stroke of midnight tonight.

On the Republican side, a tight race clashed Tuesday, significantly shaping the Nevada and South Carolina primaries yet to come. Donald Trump, who finished in second place in Iowa last week, holds a commanding lead in New Hampshire with nearly 32% state-wide support. Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz follow suit, and then it’s the battle of the Governors in 4th-6th place: Ohio Governor John Kasich, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.

And the Republican winner for the New Hampshire Primary is…

Donald Trump!
