‘Why Should I Do Another Debate?’ Trump Dodges On Whether He’ll Face Off Against Harris Again

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump dodged a question about whether he’d participate in another debate with his Democratic counterpart, Vice President Kamala Harris, after their showdown in Philadelphia on Tuesday night.

In an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, Trump was asked if he would commit to a second debate with Harris.

“Her campaign is saying tonight, Washington Post is reporting that she wants a second debate. What’s your answer?” Hannity asked Trump.

“That’s because she lost. She wants it because she lost,” answered Trump.

“Do you have an answer?” repeated Hannity.

“Well, I don’t know. I have to think about it. But if you won the debate, I sort of think maybe I shouldn’t do it. Why should I do another debate? She immediately said, ‘We want another d-‘  Know what happens when you’re a prize fighter and you lose? You immediately want a new fight. You want a rematch The guy that won is sort of happy and thinking about it,” submitted Trump.

“Would you be inclined to say yes?” asked Hannity again.

“Maybe if it was on a fair network I would do that,” replied Trump.
