Women Should NOT Be Allowed to Vote, Conservative Influencer Braeden Sorbo Says

Braeden Sorbo, the son of “Hercules” stars Kevin Sorbo and his wife, Sam, said if he had it his way, women in America would lose the right to vote.

The 24-year-old actor and conservative influencer shared his bold claim while appearing on the Truth & Liberty YouTube show on Friday. Sorbo said a lot of young women tell him they wish the 19th Amendment was never ratified, because it led to a chain of bad events happening down the line, including abortion being legalized and feminism.

“I would much rather give up my one right to vote if it meant 10,000 liberal women wouldn’t be allowed to vote, so that we could return to a better place,” Sorbo said young women have told him. “Because what we have to realize is women controlled the house, which means they controlled the vote of their husbands.”

He then told host Richard Harris the U.S. was currently “reaping what we sow,” thanks to female voting, which he said has played a key role in the “moral degradation and the societal downfall” of the country. Harris then asked Sorbo directly:

“So, Braeden, are you saying women shouldn’t have the right to vote?”

Sorbo responded with a hearty “yes.”

He added he has stated this “numerous times” previously. His goal, ultimately, is a “voting system based on Christian morals, which relates to married couples having one joint vote. So it’s not ‘Oh, women shouldn’t vote,’ it’s that women should vote with their husbands and husbands with their wives.”

Sorbo’s appearance on the pro-conservative, pro-Christian show has not racked up that many views so far; as of Tuesday afternoon, it has 75 views on YouTube. But it picked up some traction on X after Right Wing Watch clipped his comment and posted it.

His parents are also conservatives, and Sam Sorbo shares her takes on her namesake podcast. Braeden Sorbo has 1.9 million followers on TikTok and another 38,300 on Instagram.
