Fox Host Cajoles Trump Lawyer Alina Habba to Buy a Tesla From Elon Musk: ‘Everybody’s Got to Help Him!’

Fox Business Network host Larry Kudlow tried to cajole Alina Habba — counselor to President Donald Trump — into buying a “baby blue” Tesla from Elon Musk — adding “Everybody’s got to help him!”

Trump and DOGE czar Musk have been chainsawing federal government jobs amid a tanking stock market, while Tesla’s stock has dropped over $140 billion in value since December and Musk’s approval rating has cratered. He’s also weathering a wave of protest and vandalism against the vehicles.

The president tried to give Musk a boost this week with an extended photo op at the White House promoting Tesla vehicles, which Trump said he purchased two of. Hours later, it was reported that Musk is set to pump $100 million into Trump’s political operation.

On Wednesday’s edition of Fox Business Network’s Kudlow, the host wound up his interview with Habba by asking if she intends to follow Trump’s lead and buy a car from the embattled billionaire DOGE chief:

KUDLOW: Now, Alina, how about my last question is somewhat different, but I’m dying to know. Are you going to buy yourself a new Tesla like, the boss did? Maybe a bit — not red necessarily, Alina. I see you more baby blue, but I’m just curious, are you going out to buy one?

HABBA: Well, I can tell you, Larry, I was the proud owner of a Tesla Model X.

KUDLOW: Ah.

HABBA: I enjoyed it. But, unfortunately, no, I do not have a Tesla now, but maybe in my future.

KUDLOW: Oh, come on. I had Elon on the show Monday. He’s fabulous. The guy’s a great patriot.

HABBA: He’s a great guy.

KUDLOW: Everybody’s got to help him!

HABBA: Yes.

KUDLOW: He’s a great patriot, isn’t he?

HABBA: Yes.

KUDLOW: All right.

HABBA: He is a great patriot.

KUDLOW: Alina Habba, you are a great patriot too. Thanks for giving us your time.

HABBA: Thank you.

KUDLOW: We appreciate it very much.

HABBA: Thank you.
