Nashville’s mayor has confirmed that a “manifesto” leaked online was written by the Covenant School shooter and may give some insight into the gunman’s motive for killing six people last spring.

Conservative podcast host Steven Crowder announced the leak on YouTube Monday. Crowder said in the video, “I will be reading the manifesto here on this show. I wish that I wouldn’t have to.”

He posted screenshots of the manifesto to social media.

“wanna kill all you little cr*ckers”

“I hope I have a high death count”

“I’m ready…I hope my victims aren’t.”

“Ready to die.”

CBS News  in Austin, Texas, reported that the manifesto included “an hour-by-hour calendar of the tragic day, which Hale called ‘Death Day,’ including everything from ‘getting dressed’ and ‘eat breakfast’ to ‘prepare for attack’ and ‘time 2 die.'”

Hale allegedly wrote, “I’m a little nervous, but excited too. Been excited for the past 2 weeks. Can’t believe I’m doing this, but I’m ready… I hope my victims aren’t.”

Politicians and conservatives used the leak to condemn a “politicized” justice system and “Leftist’s propaganda.”
