‘The Jew Poisons The Blood Of Others’: CNN’s Kaitlan Collins Rips Into Trump With Shocking Direct Quote of Hitler

CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins tore into ex-President Donald Trump’s weekend speech using a shocking direct quote from Adolf Hitler to illustrate the similarity to Trump’s rhetoric.

Trump is under fire once again after he delivered another Hitler-echoing rant at a rally in Durham, New Hampshire on Saturday in which he accused several groups of non-White immigrants of “poisoning the blood of our country.”

On Monday night’s edition of CNN’s The Source with Kaitlan Collins, the anchor gave a shocking introduction to the story by ripping Trump for echoing Hitler — then read out a direct quote following a clip of Trump’s speech:

COLLINS: In one month from now, the first votes will be cast in the 2024 race to be President, the man who was leading the Republican field’s amped up immigration rhetoric is now invoking the same terms that were once used by Adolf Hitler.

DONALD TRUMP, 45TH U.S. PRESIDENT: They’re poisoning the blood of our country. That’s what they’ve done. They’ve poisoned mental institutions and prisons all over the world, not just in South America, not just the three or four countries that we think about. But all over the world that coming into our country, from Africa, from Asia, all over the world.

COLLINS: In Mein Kampf, Hitler wrote, “the Jew,” I’m quoting him here, “Poisons the blood of others.” Trump has used that line before and other phrases like it that echo Nazi rhetoric. But it should be noted that as you can see there, he is reading off a teleprompter, meaning that he knew exactly what you wanted to say.

CNN anchor Jake Tapper hammered Trump on Sunday over other parts of the speech, but on Monday’s edition of CNN’s The Lead also used the quote as part of an intense commentary on Trump’s rhetoric.
