WATCH: Tom Homan Shuts Down Reporter Challenging Him on Using ‘Old Law’ to Deport Migrants

President Donald Trump’s border czar — Tom Homan — dunked on a reporter challenging him on the use of a 1798 law that’s being used to deport migrants.

“What do you say to those who believe you’re using a 200-year-old law to circumvent due process?” the off-camera reporter is heard asking.

“An old law?” Homan retorted. “Not as old as the constitution and we still pay attention to that, don’t we?”

He then walked away as other reporters shouted questions behind him.

The Trump administration has invoked the 1798 Alien Enemies Act to enable the mass deportation of hundreds of violent criminals and gang members, although a judge in D.C. has temporarily blocked deportations under that act in response to a lawsuit filed by the ACLU seeking to keep the alleged violent offenders in the United States.

Earlier Monday, Homan appeared on Fox & Friends, saying he “doesn’t care” what judges say about his actions in a stunning moment.

“Another flight every day,” Homan added when asked what’s next. “President Trump has made a promise to the American people. We’re going to make this country safe again. I wake up every morning loving my job because I work for the greatest president in the history of my life, and we’re going to make this country again. I’m proud to be a part of this administration.”
