In 2008, the Reverend Adelir Antonio di Carli, in an attempt to both set records and raise money for charity, strapped himself to 1000 helium filled balloons and set off into the sky. Blown out over the ocean, and, it must be noted, doing something extremely stupid, he was never seen again.
Lawn Chair Detectives
Not to be outdone by well-reported reality, the Mythbusters set out to prove that this well documented phenomenon was actually possible. Turns out it was.
