Alan Thicke Has Died at 69

Acclaimed actor Alan Thicke has died at age 69.

Thicke’s agent has confirmed that he passed away today, and TMZ’s report says he had a heart attack while he was playing hockey with his young son.

The famous songwriter wrote the themes for classic TV shows like The Facts of Life and Diff’rent Strokes, but he is perhaps best known for his role as Dr. Jason Seaver on Growing Pains.

In recent years Thicke made guest appearances on a number of TV shows, including How I Met Your Mother, Scream Queens, and more recently Fuller House.
