April 2013 Was Mediaite’s Biggest Month… Ever

I want to congratulate the Mediaite team on a record-breaking month of traffic, welcoming almost 10 million unique visitors to the site and syndicated content in April.* No question, the tragedy in Boston increased readership across most news sites including ours, but many of our most read stories were unconnected to Boston. Pieces about Jon Stewart, Sean Hannity, Michelle Bachmann and the White House Correspondents dinner were all in the top ten as readers flocked to Mediaite to read about politics viewed through the media prism.

5,253,397 unique visitors came to the site itself, while 4,570,482 viewed our syndicated content, for a monthly total of 9,823,879 unique visitors. A hearty congratulations goes out to Jon Nicosia and the whole Mediaite team for another fantastic month as the site continues to grow and thrive.
