Biden Makes Incredibly Blunt Remark About Domestic Violence
Vice President Joe Biden admitted right off the bat comments he made today about domestic violence weren’t becoming of a president or vice president, but felt they needed to be made clear anyway. Biden was speaking out as part of a new Obama administration initiative to address sexual assault on college campuses all over the country, the same day as the site NotAlone.gov, a resource for that very issue, went live online.
Biden talked about what he learned growing up about the responsibility of men to stand up and defend women who are being assaulted.
And he proceeded to make a rather blunt comment.
Biden says growing up in Scranton, "If a man raised his hand to a woman you had the job to kick the living crap out of him if he did it."

Biden immediately acknowledged it wasn’t necessarily a presidential, let alone vice presidential, thing to say.
Biden said his "living crap" comment not presidential or vice presidential, but "it's something every man should begin to understand."
