Bill de Blasio Has Found Pizza ‘Sound Enough’ to Eat With His Hands
Back in 2014, Bill de Blasio angered New Yorkers, including Jon Stewart (and, let’s be real, everyone who eats pizza the correct way), when he went to a Staten Island pizza restaurant and was caught eating his slice with a fork and knife. Today, the mayor was back on Staten Island and he tweeted to let New Yorkers know that he’s found a slice “structurally sound enough” to eat with his hands.
I have deemed the pizza at Lee’s Tavern on Staten Island structurally sound enough to eat without a fork and knife. pic.twitter.com/yddVW8aGpt

Of course, this mostly served to remind people of the fact that, typically, he eats pizza the wrong way, and they became angry with him all over again:
@NYCMayor all pizzas are structurally sound enough to eat without a fork and knife, ya dingus
