BREAKING: More Suspicious Packages Sent to CNN’s James Clapper, Sen. Cory Booker
It seems that the bomb scare campaign that gripped America for the last few days has reached a new total of 12 suspicious packages.
NBC’s Pete Williams reports that a package addressed to Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) was flagged at a mail processing center in Florida. Like several of the suspicious packages from the last few days, it bore a false return address for Debbie Wasserman Schultz‘s (D) office in Sunrise, FL.
In separate but related news, a post office in New York City was evacuated this morning after the discovery of yet another suspicious package.

Multiple reports indicate that this package was addressed to former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper. The package was meant to be sent to CNN, which draws parallels to the incident caused by the package that was meant for former CIA chief John Brennan.

The news means that Booker and Clapper has become the last of several high-profile Democrats and critics of President Trump to be targeted by this suspected bomber campaign.
