Breaking: Sources Say Florida Man Marco Rubio is Definitely Running for Reelection!
The suspense has been building like the changing moisture level of acrylic-based pigment, and it seems we may now have the answer to the biggest “Will he or won’t he” since Spuds MacKenzie tried to kick the bottle. After promising that he’d be a “private citizen” come January 2017, it seems Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) has decided to run for reelection. At least, that’s the rumpus according to National Review Online‘s Alexis Levinson, who broke the news via a tweet:
Rubio has begun telling colleagues in congress he’s running, according to two sources familiar with the conversations.

And note to the universe, in the future it would be great if this kind of stuff didn’t happen as my plane was about to take off.

This means that the political world can now dispel with the fiction that Marco Rubio doesn’t know what he’s doing. He knows exactly what he’s doing, according to two sources, and that is running for reelection. In a recent Quinnipiac poll, Rubio led rivals from both parties in the Florida senate race by convincing margins.
