The UK Votes to Leave the European Union

The Brexit is happening, people.

Residents of the United Kingdom voted tonight to leave the European Union and all the consequences that come with it.

There’s a great deal of concern about the global economic implications of the UK’s withdrawal, with the pound and Dow dropping over the course of the night.

The victory for Leave is a surprising one, and Prime Minister David Cameron was on the Remain side, so he’s probably more than a little alarmed by the results:
